Medical Detection Dogs, along with Milton Keynes University Hospital, are looking for healthy volunteers to provide urine samples for a research study using their Detection Dogs. With their incredible sense of smell dogs can detect the minute odours now understood to be associated with many diseases including prostate, bladder and kidney cancer. This urological cancer study will investigate the ability and accuracy of specially trained dogs to distinguish between urine samples donated by individuals with cancer and non-cancerous conditions.
Sample are also needed from healthy volunteers with no history of urological disease for comparison. This will provide valuable information to assist in the development of new ways to detect and diagnose urological cancer.

Participation is completely voluntary and you are free to withdraw from the study at any time, without giving a reason.
If you would like to participate in this study, please come along to the Juniper and Medlar rooms in The Hub on the 15th September between 12:00 and 14:00. You will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire, and to provide a urine sample.
