This talk is part of Jitka Vseteckova's Ageing Well lecture series and will explore a more detailed journey into age-related changes in muscles, tendons, bones and the importance of breathing well, exercising well and enough.​

'For the past 14 years I have been teaching clinicians, allied health professionals and the public, abroad as well as in the UK. I have been presenting my Ageing Well lecture series in collaboration with Third Age University and Free Time University overseas and more recently in collaboration with primary care practices in the UK. 

'These lectures are also a component of an international online education platform for clinicians and allied health professionals via the UKeMED & Cambridge Medical Academy, based in Addenbrookes Hospital.

I am delighted to announce this series of public talks with the title Ageing Well, are being offered at The Open University in Milton Keynes in the University Library from 11:30am -1pm' - Jitka Vseteckova

Other talks in the series include:
Nutritional needs while ageing - January 28th 2020
Pharmacotherapy while ageing – February 25th 2020
Standing tall – April 28th 2020
All events will take place in the Betty Boothroyd Library at the Open University, Milton Keynes, between 11:30am and 1pm.​

New book published: A Multilingual Decameron

Written during the pandemic, the book contains stories written by OU students, featuring at least one of the languages taught in the School.
