An inspiration to other student nurses

Congratulations to Open University student nurse, John Edwards. John was awarded Outstanding Learner of the Year at Health Education Wessex Shine Awards on 20^th October 2016. John, a healthcare support worker at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is in his final year of study on the OU’s pre-registration nursing programme. John was described as “an inspirations to other student nurses” at the award event; his ambition to become a nurse would not have been realised without the flexibility and accessibility of the OU’s nursing programme. For more information about OU nursing visit www.open.ac.uk/health-and-social-care/main/nursing/
