OU Nursing in TOP TEN for student satisfaction

Nursing Times has published its detailed analysis of the recent National Students’ Survey (NSS); its focus on Nursing reveals OU Nursing is ranked eighth in England, with 92% for student satisfaction. We are delighted by the verdict of our students on the quality of support for learning and practice on our innovative, work-based route into nursing.

Not just England What Nursing Times missed in its exclusive was the fact that the OU works in partnership with employers to deliver practice-based nursing education in Northern Ireland and Scotland as well as in England. With the 92% satisfaction rating for OU nursing, our place in Northern Ireland would be joint top with Queen’s University – and in Scotland we would be ranked joint 4th with the University of Edinburgh and Highland and Islands. This is an excellent outcome for our nursing programme; it is testament to the dedication of our Nursing Team, tutors and practice-tutors – and to the excellent work of our employer partners.
