Writing for Publication

This seminar will focus on different aspects of writing for publication, such as identifying journals to publish in, assessing their quality, and balancing different factors when choosing where to publish your work.  We will discuss journal rankings, impact factors and bibliometrics. In addition, we will look at what happens when articles get submitted to journals and how the reviewing process works, using real examples from my experience alongside students’ own experiences.  The aim of this session is to help students to better understand the process of getting their work published.
