Professional biography

I am a full-time research student looking to investigate discourses of the English language in Japan through an analysis of related posts in Japanese on the microblogging site Twitter. I come to this topic from an interest in the possible ramifications within both education and wider society of the various representations and perceptions of English and its users in Japan.
