Professional biography

Kevin is Senior Learning and Teaching Technologies Manager in the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University. He has a degree in Computing and has worked in the Open University for over fifteen years in a variety of technology focussed development and management roles.

Kevin manages the Learning and Teaching Technologies (LTT) team within the institute; the team are responsible for educational technology research and development, and have achieved four OU teaching awards for innovative educational technology.

The LTT team also provide:

  • Technical support and management of the Jennie Lee Research Laboratories
  • Audio Visual support for lab and research project activities
  • Specialist computing and mobile hardware support 
  • Management and support of the Institute's server infrastructure and platforms
  • Development and management of the Institute's communications activities, including media design, social media and web presences.
