Professional biography

Katia is a research associate in the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies with a background in children’s rights and political science and she completed her PhD at the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the Open University in 2016. 

Research interests

Katia's areas of expertise are family relations, disability, human rights and wellbeing.

Teaching interests

Katia is currently working as Associate Lecturer for modue E102 'Introduction to Childhood Studies and Child Psychology'.
