Professional biography

I am the Research and Impact Manager in IET and have been based in the Institute since February 2010. I primarily support bidding activity, working with research colleagues to develop bid proposals to external funders. IET's portfolio of research projects are funded by a range of sources and we maintain an overview of our research projects through robust project initiation, healthcheck, and project close processes.

I have managed a number of small internal projects to facilitate research activity in IET and also project manage the Institute's role in the European Commission FP7-funded Learning Analytics Community Exchange (LACE) project.

I am responsible for the development of IET's impact strategy and work closely with colleagues across the University to facilitate this.

I also work closely with the Associate Director for Research and Innovation (R&I) to run training sessions and workshops for IET researchers, and undertake secretariat duties for the R&I Portfolio Group.
