Join us for our 11th talk on Reading as a hug for our brain!

Dr Sinead Eccles will lead an interactive talk to reveal the power of reading for optimal brain health. The brain is a complex yet wonderful organ and has the power to change how you feel about yourself and others. Reading is a tool that can be used to enhance connectivity in the brain, reduce stress, promote relaxation, improve sleep, and has the potential to decrease the likelihood of developing Alzheimer's. The beauty of the brain is that it has its own natural ways of making you happy, all you need are the tools to increase those happy hormones and we will be exploring that. Think of reading as one of those tools that will make you feel like you are “hugging your brain.”
