Chris is an investigator on the Horizon 2020 project, An Adaptive Trust-based e-assessment System for Learning (TeSLA). Also a contributing member of the OU team for MOocs for uniVErsity students on the Move in Europe (MoVEMe) project.
Research interests also include learning analytics for improving curriculum, transitions, including to university study and enabling students to be more effective in their learning.
Chris chairs the masters module H817 Openness and Innovation in elearning and is an author for H819 The Critical researcher: educational technology in practice, and H880 Technology-enhanced learning. He s a University 'data wrangler' and uses module presentation data to report on the effectiveness of the design of curriculum, both modules and qualifications. He also supports the development of new curriculum within the Univerisity and its representation through learning outcomes.
