Professional biography

Since completing my MSc in Health Psychology l have worked as a researcher in academic settings and charities. This work has involved working in multidisciplinary teams with different health populations in the UK and internationally. I have experience of quantitative and qualitative research. This includes NHS clinical trials and training design. 

My work has included the design and delivery of self-management interventions, feasibility trials, training healthcare professionals, patient and public involvement, and the evaluation of a perinatal mental health support service. 

 

Research interests

 

The psychological and social effect on people with long-term conditions and their family members. Psychological based interventions to support the self-management of long-term conditions.
