Information needs local authorities nhs advice services carers

A measure which outlines the ability of the National Assembly for Wales to leglislate to introduce a new requirement on the NHS and local authorities in Wales to prepare, publish and implement a strategy to provided information and advice for carers.

This Explanatory Memorandum outlines the background and purpose of the Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure 2010. The Strategy provides for the provision of information and advice to carers and for the effective involvement of local authorities with carers when making decisions about the provision of services to and for carers. Part 2 provides the Regulatory Impact Assessment of the measure.
