Postgraduate research open day

The Faculty holds an Open Day in October every year, where you can find out about our full range of doctoral degree courses (PhDs and Professional doctorates).

Our Open Day is an opportunity to meet students and academics and to find out more about doctoral research, our research facilities and hear about some of our current research projects. You will also have an opportunity to discuss your research interests.

Research within WELS is grouped into eight main research areas.

The event will outline the different research degree programmes we offer, funding available and provide information about how to make an application, including writing a research proposal.
