On behalf of the Social Work Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis Research Network, Professor Vicary and Dr Ferguson will be offering a focused workshops in 2026 on social work and IPA research. These will provide a participative space to explore the holistic model for social work IPA (Vicary and Ferguson, 2024), and support planning/ review of active research projects. Applications are open to practitioners, academics, doctoral students and any other individual who is involved in using IPA for social work research.

Spaces are limited on this workshop. Places are allocated after the closing date. People interested should complete the application form SWIPA Summer Workshop Application 2026 no later than 4pm on 30th April 2026. Applicants will be notified if they have been offered a place as soon as possible after this date.

This event is in-person. Full details and joining instructions will be provided to those who are offered a place on the workshop after the closing date for applications.
