This free workshop led by experts at the OU’s highly renowned Institute of Educational Technology (IET) will focus on how to design activities for language learners on mobile devices. The session will be based on IET’s free resource for language teachers and will offer the opportunity for attendees to explore the key ideas behind using mobile technology as a teaching tool, to hear from others who are already using this technology, and to work in small groups to design mobile language learning activities to accompany your teaching practice.
This workshop will be led by Professor Agnes Kukulska-Hulme, Programme Lead: Learning Futures (Learning and Teaching Innovation) at the OU’s Institute of Educational Technology. Professor Kukulska-Hulme’s areas of expertise are on the use of new technologies in education, understanding learner experiences and transformational educational practices. To find out more about her work, please see her profile on IET’s website.
