WELS Postgraduate Research Open Day

You are warmly invited to the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies’ (WELS) Open Day for Postgraduate Studies.

Research within WELS is grouped into eight thematic research areas:

• Health, Wellbeing and Health Care Practice
• Social Work and Social Care
• Childhood, Youth and Sport
• Education, Learning and Development
• Applied Linguistics
• Languages
• Technology Enhanced Learning
• Future of Learning

Our Open Day will start at 10:00 and finish at 15:00 (UK time).

It will outline the different research degree programmes we offer (PhD, EdD and DHSC) and the funding available, and it will also provide information about how to make an application, including writing a research proposal.

The event is also an opportunity to meet academics, librarians, and students, and find out more about the requirements for doctoral research, our research facilities, and hear about some of our current research projects.
