- To understand the various manifestations of dyslexia and how it impacts on adult learning
- To understand the assessment process for dyslexia
- To enable Practice Educators to effectively plan for working with and supporting a student who has dyslexia
Abstract for session
This webinar is aimed at helping Practice Educators to both provide support and impartially assess dyslexic students completing a practice placement. The webinar will enable Practice Educators to gain a wider understanding of dyslexia in the sense of revealing the many ways in which the condition is manifested. Details will also be shared about the assessment process and the type of and nature of support that students who have been formally diagnosed can obtain from The Open University.
