Tuesday 21 March is World Social Work Day, an annual celebration of Social Workers across the world.

This year's theme is ‘Respecting diversity through joint social action’, which recognises that change happens locally through diverse communities.

To help celebrate, Paulette Johnson, a qualified Social Worker and the WELS Academic Lead for Access, Participation and Success, shares why social work is crucial to society, and how the OU's social work curriculum is tackling equality, diversity and inclusion.
