Founding author, reviewer and editor of the Modern Languages Systematic Review Group (the main function of the group is to conduct rigorous peer-refereed evaluations of research in relation to specific pedagogy-related questions). Reviews include: - Strategy training in language learning - a systematic review of available research, an EPPI systematic review - The use and effectiveness of synchronous audio-graphic conferencing in modern language teaching and learning
