Having spent over a decade as a primary practitioner and early years lead, Carys returned to higher education to become a teacher educator through the medium of both Welsh and English to enthuse and inspire the teachers of the future.
She is currently a Curriculum Tutor for the PGCE in Wales teacher education programme and outside her professional duties continues to enjoy supporting the creation of resources for schools. Carys has worked collaborativey with education authority leads on various projects involving the early years and with colleagues to create resources for use in schools.
She has recently been working on an Open learn mentoring module to support student teacher mentors as part of their own professional journeys.
