Professional biography

Since 2007 I have worked in higher education, lecturing and managing on a range of health and social care, youth and management modules. During this time I have attained my Senior Fellowship with the Higher Eductation Academy and a PhD looking at evidence-based practice with vulnerable young people. Prior to this move to academia, I enjoyed a number of roles in youth and community settings including the management of an NHS Service for young people with drug problems that won a Home Office Award fro nest Drugs and Alocohol Service in the south-west in 2006.
