I am completing a PhD in which I am exploring children's physical activity experiences through the transition into secondary school. By hearing children's voices, I'm aiming to better understand what determines whether a physical activity experience is positive or negative. The aim being to find ways to motivate children to increase their physical activity levels as research has shown there are significant physical and mental benefits associated with increased physical activity.
