eHealth Literacy and Caregiver Burden Among Chinese Caregivers of Older Adults With Cognitive Impairment: Does Education Matter?

Background: eHealth literacy is a critical factor that influences caregivers’ well-being. Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the association between eHealth literacy, education, and caregiver burden among Chinese caregivers of older adults with cognitive impairment. Methods: Data came from structured interviews with 300 primary family caregiver–care recipient dyads in Wuhan, China. We used logistic regression to examine the association between eHealth literacy, education, and caregiver burden.

Carers and the digital divide: factors affecting Internet use among carers in the UK

This paper presents data from a cross-sectional survey of 3014 adult carers, examining use of the Internet and factors associated with it. Carers recruited from the databases of three local authorities and other carer organisations within their geographical boundaries and that of Carers UK, a national carers organisation, were sent a postal questionnaire (response rate: 40%).
