Learning disabilities adults death health care outcomes

The Department of Health (DH) established and funded the Confidential Inquiry into premature deaths of people with learning disabilities from April 2010 to March 2013 in response to a recommendation in 'Healthcare for all, report of the Independent Inquiry into access to healthcare for people with learning disabilities' (July 2008). The findings show that people with learning disabilities continue to have poor experience and outcomes compared to people without learning disabilities.
