Picture of Sam Toolan

I am incredibly privileged to benefit from the team of researchers, from The Open University and University of Aberdeen, that has helped me sculpt my PhD project thus far. They bring to the table an incredibly rich combination of knowledge, skills and kindness and I am truly blessed to have them. I am also very lucky to have been able to join and engage with colleagues through the Centre for Ageing and Biographical Studies; this has opened really valuable doors for me in terms of skill development and connections.
