Study film 1: Improving patient, family and colleague witnesses’ experiences of Fitness to Practise proceedings: A mixed methods study

The project dissemination event took place in London 01/02/24 to an invited audience of members of the public who have been involved in fitness to practice cases as witnesses, from regulators and ombudsmen, employers, lawyers and union officials involved in the fitness to practice processes, and researchers involved in patient safety and managing complaints. We hear from Berry Rose (SWE) Dinah Godfree (PSA), Emma Willis (NMC), Paul Cummins (GPhC ), David Dolan (GMC) Jessie Cunnett (The Point of Care Foundation and public advisor to the team) and from our team- Professor Rosalind Searle and Richard West, a public member of the team with lived experience of involvement in fitness to practise proceedings.
