We coordinate a global network of support for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers working in the open education field. As part of this, we co-create a range of resources and guidance around research methods, conceptual frameworks, open practice etc. which are consolidated in The GO-GN Open Research Handbook, which is licensed CC BY.

Scotland’s Languages Explorers Programme (scilt.org.uk) , where OU students deliver a six-week mentoring programme to pupils in years 2 and 3 in secondary school around language learning.
This Scots language and culture MOOC has been co-created by The Open University in Scotland and Education Scotland with communities across Scotland.
Co-created with teachers, schools and others, Reading for Pleasure is a key part of a larger programme to enhance literacy and promote social justice across the UK through co-productive and participatory research, supporting teachers to develop and share their best practice, creating spaces for teachers to learn together and co-producing policy.
Driven by a research agenda created with the OU Disabled Students Group, ADMINS used participatory design with students and disability advisors to create a virtual assistant to share information and discuss disability support.
